We took the Flavours to Freedom Tour with Justin November 3. While not booked as a private tour it ended up being just our group of 3 on the tour which was great and allowed us to really engage with Justin who provided a wealth of historical knowledge as well as a great introduction to Cape Town on our first day in town. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in good food and history!

He has so much knowledge about the food, culture and history of Cape Town, as well as South Africa. The food was delicious! It was a pleasure to have met him and spend the afternoon. We had a great afternoon out with Olivia and the rest of the group. It was a well done tour, lots of things to eat and drink (make sure you don't have dinner plans and haven't eaten a big breakfast!) Great substitutions for vegetarians. Olivia was knowledgeable, interesting to listen to and very caring. Justin was amazing! This food tour was so much fun and so culturally relevant. What a great way to learn about South Africa and its wonderful people. The food was delicious. Our guide was exceptional. My wife and I had a fabulous time and would 100% recommend it. Warning, don’t schedule dinner afterwards… You will be more than full!

Of everything we saw and did in Cape Town, (and we saw a lot of beautiful areas and met great people), this was, by far, the absolute BEST experience, especially because of Olivia's personality shining through. Her passion for sharing her culture, the vibe of the areas we visited and her knowledge of everything we talked about was unmatched. And being able to experience the local flavors, sights and sounds on our walk was special. You could tell that the owners and staff of the establishments we visited also respect her. This tour is more than worth the 4 hours we spent with her. I highly recommend this tour!
